The Git Cheat Sheet
By Flavio Copes
My new free book, the Git Cheat Sheet, is an extensive collection of Git command line commands you can read on freeCodeCamp or download as a PDF.
I published a brand new book that went on to be added to my “famous” series of free books that are available to all my newsletter subscribers.
It’s called “Git Cheat Sheet” and it’s a very extensive collection of Git commands.

Everything in this book is related to the Git command line utility, no GitHub, no GUI apps, etc. Just the command line. And it’s already a lot! The PDF is 38 pages long, so it’s not a one-page, it’s quite complete.
You can read it for free on freeCodeCamp, or download it in PDF by signing up to my newsletter.
That’s currently book #17 available to my (free) subscribers.
If you prefer something interactive, I also built a free Git command finder where you describe what you want to do and it gives you the command.
This is the first of a series of resources I’m preparing about Git.
Next up in the list is the “Git Handbook”, coming soon. This will be an easy introduction to Git, a guide you can use to go from zero to feeling ok using Git. Still free.
This is all in preparation for a new paid course I’m building on Git, called Git Masterclass.
That will be the advanced Git guide, where I’ll detail with text and videos how to use Git as a professional developer.
Targeting the end of September for this course, sign up to the waiting list on https://flaviocopes.com/courses/
